Indian Mysore Aged Sandalwood Chips - Authentic Mysore Region

Carefully selected from aged sandalwood sourced from the traditional Mysore region of India, these chips are finely cut and polished by hand into clean, even small pieces.

Each piece is uniform in size, with no loose debris, mixed wood, or signs of mildew. The wood feels firm, smooth, and naturally oily, with colors ranging from soft yellow to deep brown. Clear natural oil lines can be seen within the wood grain.

The sandalwood is naturally shade-dried and gently low-temperature dried to help preserve its aroma. It is hand-cleaned and screened to remove dust and impurities, with no chemical processing. This helps keep the rich creamy sweetness and warm woody character of the original sandalwood. For incense use only.

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Aroma Notes:

The aroma is soft, smooth, and deeply comforting, warm without being dry, rich without feeling heavy.

It opens with a clean and gentle sandalwood note, soft and never sharp. As it warms, the signature creamy sandalwood sweetness slowly unfolds, giving the scent a warm, soothing, and refined character.

The finish settles into a calm, long-lasting woody base with excellent staying power and a beautiful lingering scent.

How to Use:

● Incense Heating: Enjoy slowly over charcoal or with indirect heat. When using an electric incense burner, start at a steady 180°C / 356°F to release the full aroma, then gradually lower the temperature as the fragrance develops.
● Incense Blending: Highly versatile for handmade incense blending. It pairs beautifully with agarwood, Dalbergia odorifera, amber, and other natural aromatic materials. Suitable for making incense sticks, incense coils, incense pills, incense tablets, and scented beads.
● Incense Powder Use: Grind a small amount into fine powder for incense seal practice or direct powder heating, and enjoy its soft creamy sweetness with a warm, elegant woody base.
